Frederick
Bernard Tannen Hollenberg was born at Providence Forge, near Richmond,
Virginia, on January 22, 1866. He was the son of Henry George
Hollenberg, born in Onasbruck, Hannover, Germany, and Amelia Adelaide
Binns, born in Alabama. Frederick married Charnelsie Jean Cravens in
1888. Hollenberg was a successful Little Rock businessman, managing the
Hollenberg Music Company, one of the oldest and largest piano sellers in
the Southwest. He died May 27, 1938.
