Each school year, public school students or
their families are required to complete a card that provides basic information
about the household. This information may include name, age, and race of
everyone in the home. These records are representative of households with
school age children in Lawrence County during the period from 1908 to 1964.
This collection contains 22 boxes of school
census records organized into folders and sorted alphabetically by school
district and by date.
