R.G. Thomas was born circa 1840 in North Carolina and moved to White County, Arkansas, in the mid-1800s. He married Mary West on December 29, 1866. Their son, Richard Thomas, was born in White County in 1881. Ruth Thomas, the daughter of Richard and Rachel Thomas, married Noah Jones. He was born in 1897 in Albion, White County, Arkansas.
